Your copy-and-paste responses to my family have been noted. Please don’t bother responding again, because your response only proves our point. You are completely wrong. You did NOT “get our mom back to the hospital.” SHE told us she needed to go because her basic needs were not being met and she was in pain. Your staff wouldn’t even call 911 when she requested medical attention. Yes, we spoke with your staff about our concerns. We gave your facility more than one opportunity to fix the issues. My sister even spent the night to make sure our mom was safe and receiving the care she deserved. Despite those conversations and our efforts to advocate for her, nothing changed. That’s why she ended up back in the hospital. Your response to our family’s reviews is completely off base. In fact, it reinforces our biggest concern—that administration has no real understanding of what is happening in residents’ rooms on a daily basis. Your statement that, “I can tell you all love your mom and it’s emotional and stressful,” attempts to paint a picture that our concerns are driven by emotion rather than facts. They are not. They are based on what we personally witnessed, documented, repeatedly reported, and ultimately experienced. This was never about unrealistic expectations. It was about a lack of basic care and basic needs being met. Period. I sincerely hope you take the time to understand what families are actually telling you instead of relying on generic responses that dismiss their experiences. Families deserve to be heard, and residents deserve better. I hope you never have to be placed in a facility like yours.
I would like to formally share my concerns regarding my mother’s recent stay at your facility for rehabilitation. My mother was released from the hospital to come here for rehabilitation, and we were told her bladder would be checked every four hours during the first night. Unfortunately, it was not checked for 15 hours. She was extremely uncomfortable, and we were fortunate that she did not develop another infection. Communication at this facility appears to be a major issue. It felt like the staff were not on the same page, and the care provided did not match the level of monitoring and attention we expected after leaving the hospital. We were told the facility offered services comparable to the hospital, but our experience did not reflect that. To make matters worse, the television in the adjacent room was playing at full volume at 3 AM, leaving my mother with little to no sleep. When we brought up our concerns, we received excuses instead of solutions. Ultimately, my mother was not monitored as she should have been and had to be taken back to the emergency room and readmitted to the hospital. I believe this situation deserves a serious review. I am also concerned about what may happen to patients who do not have family members available to advocate for them. I hope the facility takes these concerns seriously, reviews its procedures, improves communication among staff, and ensures that other patients receive the care, attention, and monitoring they deserve. Thank you for taking the time to review this matter. I would appreciate a response regarding what steps will be taken to address these concerns.

My mother’s care while at Roseville Care Facility in Roseville CA was very trying on everyone in the family. My mother went to Kaiser ER for extreme pain in her back. After being examined by the staff at the ER, she was transferred to the care of Roseville care center. That’s when things got difficult. My mother brought her own medications for health issues that didn’t involve her pain (COPD, rash on her legs and diabetes). My mom would call me to let me know that she wasn’t getting the medication she was suppose to be. At first the reason was that there was a mix up with her medication and another person staying at the Facility. Next issue was, they were giving her too much of the diabetic medication that she takes on a daily basis as well as them giving her medication for Diabetes that she does NOT take at all. Next came the pain medication. The ADON (ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING) told me when I called that my mother was being given Tylenol 3x a day. That was not the case. My mother had to beg to be given a Tylenol after the doctor at the care facility said it was OK for her to have. My mother discharged herself in part because of the treatment from the night nurse as well as the difficulty in receiving the medication she was given by the ER. Today is Saturday, the day my mother is being released and her medication is no where to be found. My mom called me on speaker with the staff there next to her to ask me if I had received a phone call from a nurse at the facility regarding disposing of my mother’s medication. NO ONE FROM THE FACILITY EVER CONTACTED ME ABOUT MY MOTHER’S MEDICATION. I even left a message for the Administrator named David. I guess the insurance money is all they care about because I never received a call back. Thank you David for finding some of the medication. Can you please explain the confusion of the information I redirected from Christine the ADON regarding the medication she told me my mother was being given (Tylenol) when she was not, or the initial confusion of the “mix up” between my mother’s medication and another patient there? Doesn’t instill any trust when you’re being lied to.

When I come to visit my friend, people are polite and it seems like staff members are happy, laughing in the hallways sometimes. They always take good care of my friend, attending to her light when she needs help. The staff is gentle and kind with my friend.
Appears clean with no bad smells. It is a large facility so there’s that, long way from front entrance. No chairs for visitors in room but there were some in the hall.
Staff is friendly and the place is clean and no smell.
I appreciated how helpful the staff was when Virginia and I had questions or a need.
Cleanness was exceptional and friendly staff and workers. The only complaint is better signage for where the rooms are. Iv’e been there several times and have way around when I walked right past the hall that I should have went down and the maps they pass out for directions is not helpful.
My mom had a great experience here. Some improvements could do. Also gave a great home care recommendation for ACASA so she could stay home and recover more.thank you for the care.
Employees were very helpful and pleasant in helping me get to my destination.
As a caregiver, I’m very impressed with the cleanliness of the care home as well as the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I very much felt comforted to have my loved one in this facility until she is able to go back home.
Wish I could give 0☆! My Father in Law passed away in their care overnight. They left his body in the room and badgered family yo have him removed (they do nothing for aftercare) his body layed there for hours!!!!!! The Center stopped all communication once he was removed, his body has been in cold storage over a week, with every attemt to contact the center for a time of death. Unresponsive. Also while he was under their care; communication between nurses, Dr’s, and family was garbage! Do not send your family here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day one. Here due to severe leg & ankel injuries to rehab for non weight bearing leg. I’m in severe pain with no answer as to what i am supposed to do for my pain. Men & women are crying out. I am so sorry to be here. I am also in the 400 unit that has had previous issues. Neighboring rooms have Covid. They said they are using procautions… gloves mask… really. My roommate has infection. This is what I’m supposed to be Protected from. This is One Flew over Coo Coos Nest – a living HELL

I came today for the first time to visit a neighbor who is staying at this facility temporarily. The facility was clean and modern and well kept and the staff members were friendly.

One of the best run care centers. Poor planning on layout, to easy getting lost, no obvious reason with room numbers sequence
